GlowZone: Headphone Disco
Let’s kick off the school year with an epic party to remember! The OTSU and DCSA are teaming up to bring you Glowzone: Headphone Disco—a glow-in-the-dark, high-energy silent dance party under the stars at Polonsky Commons. This student union team-up is guaranteed to be a highlight of the year, with all Ontario Tech and Durham College students invited to dance the night away together.
What to Expect:
- Doors open at 8 p.m.
- Two live DJs, one curated playlist, giving you three music channels to choose from
- LED headphones that light up based on your channel, so join the DJ battle and rep your colour!
- Glow-in-the-dark furniture, glow sticks, and photo ops perfect for your IG feed
- Free OTSU and DCSA water bottle giveaway (while supplies last!)
- An electric atmosphere with students from Ontario Tech and Durham College
- Free water throughout the event to stay hydrated
What to Know:
- Capacity is limited to 400 students, so come early and get ready to plug in, light up, and vibe out!
- Student ID is required at the entrance
- Security will be onsite for bag checks (please no large bags, outside food, or drinks)
- If the event is at capacity and you leave, you’ll have to wait for others to leave before you can get back in
Bring your roommate, your lab partner, your new Orientation friends—whoever you want to dance the night away with!
