Campus Cup

This is OUR year! We can feel it! Everyone on campus (DC and OTU) comes out for this epic orientation week classic where the ultimate bragging rights are on the line. Going into its 17th year, this annual grudge match between Durham and Ontario Tech’s soccer teams is a fantastic way to get into the school spirit, cheer on your Ridgebacks, and experience the excitement of a double header live sports match.

Doors open at 5 p.m. sharp! The women’s teams kick off first at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s teams at 7 p.m. Games will end around 9 p.m.

Don’t be late, stands fill up fast! Last year the stands were full and fans were spilling out to the side lines and around the field. It was a VIBE!

We’ll have a booth set up where we’ll be giving away prizes, merch, and those thundersticks that make lots of noise! Come say hi, meet the team, and learn more about what the OTSU does for students!

This year’s festivities include a free Harvey's BBQ, ice cream, t-shirts and more. Take part in the famous game of Heads and Tails for a chance to win an iPad and enjoy musical artist, King Daviid, as emcee and DJ throughout the night!

The post-game buzz (after the Ridgebacks win, we hope) continues at 2200 North Bar & Grill, where it’s Toonie Tuesday. They’ll have $2.50 menu items and music and dancing all night to keep the party going.
