Come by Charles Hall on February 5 between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. for a delicious and nutritious breakfast to start your day! But get there quick before supplies run out!

And, since February is Heart Month, we’ll have foods that are heart-conscious. See you there!

Heart Month is a time to remind ourselves of the importance of cardiovascular health and an opportunity to focus on what we can do to improve our heart health.

Here are a few ways to maintain your heart health this and every month:

  1. Get a solid sleep every night
  2. Don’t smoke
  3. Daily cardio exercises (simple jumping jacks or mountain climbers are great in the cold months)
  4. Eat foods like walnuts, blueberries, edamame, tofu, or oatmeal
  5. Stay active
  6. Stress-reducing activities like meditation, journaling, or socializing
