
Black Excellence in Leadership Award
This February, the OTSU is continuing the Black Excellence in Leadership Award. The award recognizes Black-identifying or multi-racial students who have demonstrated community-building in the Ontario Tech community and made a significant impact on the campus community through a leadership position.
This award recognizes a student who self-identifies as Black or multi-racial who has demonstrated community-building in the Ontario Tech community and made a significant impact on the campus community through a leadership position. Winners will be presented with a cash honorarium.
About the Award
- Submissions are open from February 1 at 9:00 a.m. until February 28 at 11:59 p.m.
- Ontario Tech students may nominate themselves or a peer
- There is no academic standing requirement to be eligible for this award
- Two awards will be given to two recipients, and the winners will be chosen by a committee at the OTSU, approved by the Board of Directors and announced in March
