OTSU Annual General Meeting 2024

The OTSU would like to personally invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) happening on October 28 at 5:30 p.m. in UA 1220.

Our AGM is the most important opportunity you have in shaping the future of your student experience—it is how you can impact the direction of the student union, have your voice heard by student leaders, and steer the future of the OTSU by raising concerns and voting on proposals.

This is a hybrid event, and no registration is required. Refreshments provided to those in-person.

If you want to raise an agenda item at the AGM, you can fill out this proposal form. If you cannot attend but would like to send an eligible member on your behalf, please fill out this AGM proxy form.

WHAT IS AN AGM?

  • The Ontario Tech Student Union’s AGM is a yearly gathering between the OTSU’s Board, Executives, and stakeholders (that’s you), so that we can inform students of what we’ve been doing and what our priorities are, disclose finances, and, most importantly, hear from students.
  • The AGM is typically where students bring forward concerns regarding governance and policy changes, advocacy issues, or service amendments.
