Committees are essential to our governance structure, providing a platform for students to engage in decision-making processes, contribute to policy development, and ensure that diverse perspectives are represented.

Clubs and Societies Committee

Intended to be a forum for oversight, review, and development of Club and Society policies and heir functions. The Committee will work with OTSU's VP Student Life to enhance Clubs and Societies.

Downtown Campus Advisory Committee

The Downtown Campus Advisory Committee represents and engages Downtown Campus students to nhance their experience by addressing opportunities and concerns in collaboration with the VP Downtown.

Elections Committee

The Elections Committee helps oversee the election process to ensure transparency, accuracy, and fairness. Students at large are needed to work alongside the Chief Returning Officer to ensure andidates are following the Elections Policy and Procedure.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee supports informed financial decision-making by reviewing budgets, inancial plans, controls, investments, and proposals, while advising on expenditures, revenue, and roject feasibility.

The Human Resource Committee oversees the Executive Team through strategic supervision, erformance assessments, hiring processes, and addressing HR matters while adhering to the OTSU By-Laws nd maintaining confidentiality.

Student Advocacy Advisory Committee

The Student Advocacy Advisory Committee advises on student-facing issues, reviews and ecommends advocacy policies, and supports institutional, municipal, and provincial advocacy efforts hile fostering collaboration and engagement among Ontario Tech students.
